ST. AUGUSTINE – Flagler College infielder Jaiden Warde was selected to the Florida Collegiate Summer League's All-Star Game, which takes place this evening at Sanford, Florida.

Warde, who plays for the Sanford River Rats, was selected as a reserve infielder for the East Division All-Stars. Through 22 games played, he is batting .317 with 20 hits, four doubles, nine runs batted in, and he has scored 11 runs.

There are eight more Flagler baseball players participating in summer collegiate leagues across the country.

Gage Voorhees, Flagler's ace last spring, is pitching for the Savannah Bananas of the Coastal Plain League. He holds a 1-2 record with a 2.04 earned run average. Voorhees has started five of the seven games he has pitched for the Bananas. He has fanned 17 batters in 22 innings pitched.

Ashton Thomas is playing for the Southern Ohio Copperheads of the Great Lakes Collegiate Summer League. In 25 games, he has collected 17 hits, including two doubles and one home run. Thomas has scored 13 runs and knocked in four.  

Anthony Nofi is playing for the Brockton Rox of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League of New England. He has been the workhorse out of the bullpen with a team-high 12 appearances. Nofi has a 2-1 record and a 4.10 ERA to go along with 18 strikeouts in 15 1/3 innings pitched.

Jonny Crowel, a catcher for the Saints, is playing for the Southland Vikings of the Northern League. He has played in 24 games and has collected 13 hits, including one double and one home run. Crowell has scored 13 runs and driven in 12 more.

Bryce Fitzgerald is spending his summer in Orlando playing in the Florida Futures League. He is batting .333 with nine hits, including a triple and a home run. Fitzgerald has scored five runs and has four RBI.

Brad Vondruska, Jace Thomas, and Gabe Partridge are playing in summer leagues too, but stats are not available.
