DAHLONEGA, Ga. — The Flagler College softball team wrapped up its regular season Sunday morning as the No. 19 University of North Georgia Nighthawks concluded the Peach Belt Conference three-game series with an 8-0 win in five innings at Hill Stadium.
Flagler sits at 25-26 overall and 9-15 in PBC play, while the PBC regular-season champions of North Georgia improves to 40-15 and 20-4 in conference. Sunday's game marked the final regular-season clash for each team as both head into the PBC Tournament, which begins next weekend in Greenwood, South Carolina.
The Nighthawks pounced on the Saints early, scoring a run in the first and following it up with two in the second and five more in the fourth. It was a deficit Flagler couldn't overcome or threaten as Kristen Davis (W, 14-4) limited the Saints to just two hits.
Kyleigh Taylor and
