ST. AUGUSTINE — The top-15 matchup between No. 15 Flagler College and No. 8 Saint Leo University has been canceled due to rain. Due to scheduling conflicts, this non-conference women's tennis match will not be made up.
 
The inclement weather swept through the Ancient City during the final singles match, with the score knotted at 3-all. The Saints won the doubles point to set them up for success as the Lions won on singles' courts four through six; meanwhile, Flagler took points on the first and second court.

Third singles' player Alessandra Traub was down one set, but was battling back in the second set, hoping to force a third before play was halted due to lightning. The rain followed to cancel the match for good.
 
The Saints will be back in action Saturday, April 9th when No. 12 University of Tampa comes to St. Augustine for a 10:30 a.m. match.
