ST AUGUSTINE, Fla. –
Thomas Pritchard recorded his second hat trick of the season in a 21-7 loss to No. 14 Rollins College Saturday Night at Flagler Lacrosse Field.
Flagler falls to 0-6 in its inaugural season. Rollins stays perfect, improving to 5-0.
The Tars offense came out firing right from the opening faceoff, firing off the first five goals of the game.
Geraint Shaw stopped the Tars run off a feed from
Ty Tom with 4:41 left.
Following Shaws goal, the Tars scored seven of the final nine goals in the first half, granting the Tars a 12-3 lead at halftime, and that lead would only grow in the second half. One of the two goals the Saints managed in that time frame came from
Colten Reynolds, which was his first in his collegiate career.
In the third quarter, Pritchard recorded all three of his goals within three minutes of each other.
Christian House had an exceptional night in the faceoff circle, winning 11 of his 18 duels in the circle with Rollins.
Logan Patrick caused two turnovers and picked up one ground ball.
Mitchell Evans made his debut in the crease in the fourth quarter, making four saves.
The Tars as a team took 55 shots, 34 of those being on target. Justin White and Jack Johnston each posted four goals.
Flagler hits the road for another Sunshine State Conference matchup, this time against Saint Leo on Saturday, Mar. 12 at 2 p.m.
