AUGUSTA, Ga. –
Logan Garcia finished with 14 kills and had six total blocks in Flagler College's 3-2 (25-23, 18-25, 26-24, 21-25, 16-14) win over the University of South Carolina Aiken to win the program's seventh Peach Belt Conference Volleyball Tournament title Saturday afternoon at the Christenberry Fieldhouse.
The conference title was the program's first since 2017.
Flagler, the No. 3 seed, improved to 18-9 overall and receives the league's automatic berth to the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional. The Saints will find out who and where they will play Sunday at 10:30 p.m. as the 64-team field is unveiled on ncaa.com. USC Aiken, the No. 5 seed, ended its season with a 19-13 record.
Garcia finished with a sizzling .500 hitting percentage as she only had one error on 26 swings.
Molly Boyd added 13 kills and seven total blocks.
Jordan Berglin, the tournament's most valuable player, finished with a double-double as she had 12 kills and 11 digs. Berglin led the Saints with 42 kills in the tourney.
Cecilia Robert added 12 kills.
Kennedy Muff, the PBC Setter of the Year, tallied 51 assists and completed the double-double with 10 digs. She tacked on five kills and had four total blocks to her line.
Edie Lamoreaux, who joined Berglin on the all-tournament team, collected a match-high 32 digs.
Cameron Fenner had three service aces.
Sadie McKay led the Pacers with a match-high 25 kills and 16 digs. Anna Sommer and Emily Lammers each added 14 kills. Kari Mercer finished with 26 digs while Mallory Barash tallied 52 assists and had 12 digs.
Flagler opened the fifth set on a 4-1 tear, but USC Aiken would rally and tie the score four times, the last on a Lammers kill to knot the set at 14-all. Robert's kill gave the Saints match point and Garcia ended the match with a cross-court kill.
