Box Score ROME, Ga. - The Flagler College women's tennis team saw Luisa Hrda and a doubles pair advance to the quarterfinals of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Cup held in Georgia Thursday through Sunday.
 
In singles, Hrda, the No. 3 seed, defeated Hawaii Pacific University's Marleen Tilgner 6-4, 7-6(7-5) Thursday to advance to the quarterfinals. The senior fell in the quarterfinals 5-7, 6-0, 2-6 to Prinkle Singh from the University of Charleston, Friday.
 
In doubles, Dana Heimen and Nadja Meier fell in the round of 16 in a tiebreaker (7-6(8-6), 3-6, 10-12) to Mihoki Miyahara and Elodie Busson of Hawaii Pacific. Heimen and Meier then moved on to the consolation bracket, where they battled Lara Schmid and Sofia Smagina of Washburn University but fell, 6-2, 4-6, 8-10, in the first round. 

Fourth-seeded Hrda and Eryka Kruk swept Alyssa Cameron and Sofia Krasikova from Charleston, 6-2, 6-0, to advance to the quarterfinals. In the doubles quarterfinals held on Friday, Hrda and Kruk fell to Nikki Boyar and Blythe Buntrock of the University of Central Oklahoma, 4-6, 5-7.
 
The Saints look ahead to the Southeastern Invitational held in Lakeland, Florida Oct. 21-23.
