The men's field has 11 teams with the University of Tampa, Georgia College, Albany State University, Georgia Southwestern State University, Andrew College, Daytona State College, Florida State College at Jacksonville, Tallahassee Community College, Thomas University, Valdosta State, and Flagler.

The women's side features 13 teams with Tampa, the University of North Georgia, Georgia College, Albany State, Georgia Southwestern, Andrew College, Daytona State, FSCJ, Pensacola State College, Tallahassee CC, Thomas, Valdosta State, and Flagler.

Following each race, awards will be given to the top 10 finishers and the top two teams overall in both races. Also, the top five runners from Florida and Georgia will be compared and the best overall score will determine the state winner.

The men's team is picked to finish third in the Peach Belt Conference and welcomes back a pair of all-conference runners in Connor Norton and Trenton Liberty.

The women's team is the defending conference champion and is picked to finish second, according to the preseason coaches' poll. Jessie Mescal earned all-conference honors last year. The Saints lost three other all-conference runners, including the PBC Runner of the Year Heloise Duffie de Tassigny.
