NEW ORLEANS, LA. - A historic 2025 season for the Flagler College men's cross country team earned the Saints the No. 3 spot in this year's United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Southeast Regional Preseason poll yesterday afternoon.

Within the Southeast Region, the 2025 NCAA Division II National Champions, Wingate University, remains atop the standings as No. 1 in this seasons poll. Following the Bulldogs is Anderson University (S.C.) at No. 2. Rounding out the top-five is Catawba College at No. 4, followed by Peach Belt Conference affiliated, Augusta University at No. 5.

Flagler welcomes 12 newcomers to the roster after graduating a stout senior class who made up four of the Saints top seven times.. Following a successful freshman season, Axel Dabe and Jack Waters will look to step into a larger role behind rising seniors Bryce Dufrene and Kaleb Hollins. At last seasons regional championship, Dabe was the second fastest Saint to cross the line, placing 14th in 32:08.2. Hollins and Dufrene finished together, occupying 28th and 29th place. The incoming freshman class is balanced by a mix of domestic and international talent.

The Southeast Regional championship will be held at the Miliken Research Park in Spartanburg S.C. on Nov. 21.
