Flagler places 124 student-athletes on PBC Presidential Honor Roll

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Flagler College put 124 student-athletes on the 2019 Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll, which was released today by conference officials. There were 1,517 student-athletes that earned the conference's honor roll accolade. The Presidential Honor Roll recognizes all student-athletes at the 12 PBC member institutions who had a grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the academic year.

The honor roll is divided into four groups: Presidential, Bronze, Silver and Gold Scholars. All student-athletes with a GPA from 3.0 to 3.24 are Presidential Scholars while Bronze Scholars are 3.25 to 3.49; Silver 3.50 to 3.74 and Gold Scholars are those with a 3.75 to 4.00.

Flagler had 115 student-athletes make the honor roll last year. The PBC's 1,517 student-athletes gives the league more than 1,000 honorees for the 10th year in a row. Each student-athlete will receive a certificate from the conference office.

Flagler had 32 student-athletes earning Gold Scholar honors. The following earned Gold Scholar honors: Aaron Anderson (baseball); Patricia Bishop (cheerleading); Emelie Brandt (women's soccer); Annie Breen (women's soccer); Reid Burrows (men's tennis); Sam Carpenter (baseball); Kierra Crane (women's basketball); Oscar Davidsson (men's soccer); Sarah-Lisa Dubel (women's soccer); Heloise Duffie de Tassigny (women's cross country); Garland Evans (softball); Kenneth Gordon (baseball); Miranda Greene (women's golf); Niklas Heil (men's tennis); Juan Iturra (men's golf); Kim Jakobs (women's golf); Patrick Krack (baseball); Lorena Lopez (women's soccer); Kara McKissack (women's basketball); Jessie Mescal (women's cross country); Charlene Nowotny (women's soccer); Lauren Penkala (women's cross country); Maria Puccio-Ball (women's cross country); Ali Ritter (women's soccer); Felicitas Runkel (women's tennis); Concepcion Sanchez (women's soccer); Sara Sandberg (women's soccer); Sarah Schark (volleyball); Ella Stromfelt (women's golf); Kris Totoris (men's basketball); Morgan Vidrine (women's soccer); and Lindsey Williams (women's cross country).

Thirty-four more student-athletes earned Silver Scholar honors. Another 34 student-athletes were tabbed as Bronze Scholars. Flagler had 24 student-athletes earn Presidential Scholar honors. Flagler College, located in St. Augustine, Florida, is a member of the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) Division II and the Peach Belt Conference and sponsors 15 intercollegiate sports.
