Willy Hasselberg of the men's tennis team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending April 30.

Hasselberg went 1-1 in singles play and 2-0 in doubles, with Hermann Gertmann, this past weekend at the NCAA Southeast Regional in Columbus, Georgia. He won in both singles and doubles Sunday afternoon in Flagler's heartbreaking 5-4 loss at Columbus State. He won in doubles against North Georgia on Saturday, but lost a tough match, in three sets, in singles.

For the season, Hasselberg posted an overall record of 4-8 in singles play, which included a 3-7 mark this spring. In doubles, he went 8-12 overall and 6-11 this spring. Hasselberg went 2-2 when teamed with Gertmann.
