Box Score SAVANNAH, Ga. – No. 4 (Oracle/ITA Division II) Armstrong State University triumphed over No. 8 Flagler College 7-2 in a Peach Belt Conference women's tennis match Saturday afternoon at the Armstrong Tennis Complex.

Armstrong State improved to 16-3 overall and 8-1 in the Peach Belt. Flagler fell to 13-3 overall and 6-2 in conference play.

The Saints picked up one point in doubles play when the team of Kelly Burge and Lizanne Jinkertz raised their overall record to 13-5 with an 8-6 win over Tatjana Stoll and Diana Stomlega.

In singles play, Burge raised her season record to 22-4 with a straight sets win (6-1 and 6-3) over Stoll, who is ranked No. 17 in the country. It was Burge's first win over a nationally ranked opponent.

Flagler opens its final homestand of the season on Friday (April 7) against Lander University at 10 a.m. at the Flagler Tennis Center.
