Box Score AUGUSTA, Ga. – Kali Boatwright recorded a match-high 13 kills, hit .632 and added seven digs as Georgia Regents University Augusta swept Flagler College 3-0 (25-19, 25-14, 25-16) in a Peach Belt Conference volleyball match Saturday afternoon at Christenberry Fieldhouse.
GRU Augusta improved to 8-2 overall and evened its Peach Belt record at 1-1. Flagler's overall record fell to an even 6-6 and its conference record dropped to 2-1.
The Saints were held to 23 kills for the match.
Genel Sturgeon and
Megan Hooks each recorded six kills for Flagler.
Sara Davis added five kills and hit .500 with just one error on eight swings.
Amelia Morgan tallied 19 assists and
Ashley Lechleidner-Rodriguez collected seven digs.
Boatwright had only one error on 32 swings to lead the Jaguars. Kristen Koch added nine kills, six assists and seven digs. Koch and Boatwright each had four service aces. Paige Elliott chipped in with seven kills, hit an efficient .545 and added seven digs. Alyssa Latham tallied 25 assists.
GRU Augusta hit .363 for the match with 41 kills and just 12 errors on 80 swings.
Flagler will wrap up its three-match weekend road trip with another Peach Belt tilt on Sunday (Sept. 21) at Francis Marion University in Florence, S.C. at 2 p.m.
