Box Score GAFFNEY, S.C. – No. 3 (NSCAA/Continental Tire Division II Top 25) Limestone College wasted little time in getting on the board, scoring 41 seconds into the match and eventually came away with a 2-0 win over No. 16 Flagler College in a non-conference men's soccer match Saturday night at Saints Field.

Limestone remained undefeated at 5-0-0 while Flagler was dealt its second consecutive loss and fell to 3-2-1.

Jorge Mackenna stole a pass in the early going and blasted a shot past keeper Lex Craggs to give Limestone the early 1-0 lead.

The score remain the same all the way until Harry Cooksley maneuvered his way through the Flagler defense and tucked a shot into the bottom right corner to give Limestone a 2-0 lead in the 79th minute.

Limestone out-shot Flagler 15-7, including holding a 9-2 margin in the first half. Flagler held a 7-5 edge in corner kicks.

Jackie Kay and Marco Warren each took two shots for Flagler.

Tom Godfrey recorded one save for Limestone to preserve the shutout. Craggs made four saves for Flagler.

The match was delayed about 20 minutes due to the lights shutting off during the halfway point of the second half.

Flagler returns to action on Saturday (Sept. 27) at No. 10 Young Harris College, the PBC preseason favorite, at 7:30 p.m.
