Erika Lang-Montgomery officially released the 2014-15 schedule this afternoon. There will be 14 home contests and 13 road dates.
The season tips off on Sunday, Nov. 2 in an exhibition game against Georgia Tech in Atlanta. The Yellow Jackets went 20-12 in the Atlantic Coast Conference last season.
The Saints will follow with a pair of games in the Spartan Challenge Tournament at University of Tampa. On Nov.14, Flagler will take on Tampa at 2 p.m. and then take on Florida Southern College on Nov. 15 at 12 p.m.
Flagler's home opener is against Eckerd College on Nov. 19 at 5:30 p.m. The Saints will spend the rest of November at home with matchups against Ave Maria University on Nov. 22 at 2:30 p.m. and University of Puerto Rico- Mayaguez on Nov. 26 at 5:30 p.m.
The Saints play three of their four games in December at the cozy confines of Flagler Gymnasium. Flagler takes on Trinity Baptist College on Thursday Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. Peach Belt Conference play begins on Thursday Dec. 18 when the Saints face off against the University of North Georgia. The Saints round out December when they take on Young Harris College on Dec. 20 at 1:30 p.m.
Flagler will have a busy January with ten games, including six of those on the road. All 10 of those are conference games. The New Year starts off at home on Jan. 3 against Lander University. The next two games are on the road at USC Aiken (Jan. 5) and Francis Marion University (Jan. 7). Flagler hosts USC Aiken on Jan. 10. After that Flagler hits the road, to take on Georgia Southwestern State University (Jan 14). From there the Saints will travel to Morrow, Georgia to face Clayton State University (Jan 17). The Saints round out their road trip with a game against Georgia College on Jan. 19. Flagler has two home games facing off against Georgia Regents University (Jan. 24) and Columbus State University (Jan. 28). January ends on the road against UNC Pembroke on January 31.
Eight more games face the Saints in February, including four at Flagler Gym. A home date with Francis Marion (Feb. 7) is sandwiched in between road games against Armstrong State University (Feb. 4) and GRU Augusta (Feb. 11). Flagler will face Lander on Feb. 14 for their last regular season road game of the season. Flagler will be home for the remainder of the season and will face UNC Pembroke (Feb. 18) and University of Montevallo (Feb. 25).
The regular season concludes at home on Wednesday Feb. 25 with Armstrong at 5:30 p.m.
The quarterfinals of the Peach Belt Conference Tournament will be held at the highest seed on Feb. 28. The winners of the quarterfinal games will move on to the final four which will be held at the highest seed of the men's East Division.
