Box Score 2 ST. AUGUSTINE – Flagler College kept the winning streak going with a pair of victories on Saturday at Flagler Gymnasium. The Saints opened with a 3-1 (25-17, 25-15, 21-25, 25-12) win over GRU Augusta in a Peach Belt Conference match, and then knocked off No. 25 (AVCA Division II Top 25) Rollins College 3-0 (34-32, 25-19, 25-20) in a non-conference match.
Flagler improved to 7-4 overall and 3-1 in the Peach Belt. GRU Augusta fell to 1-9 overall and 0-4 in conference play. Rollins, who defeated GRU Augusta earlier, ran its record to 9-2.
In the first match of the day,
Abby Meyers led a balanced Flagler attack with 12 kills and hit .400 with only two errors on 25 swings. She also added four total blocks.
Emilee Taylor added eight kills and a team-high 14 digs. She also collected four total blocks.
Amelia Morgan tallied 20 assists and
Caitlyn Kovach collected 10 digs and had four aces.
Kristen Koch led the Jaguars with eight kills and eight digs. Maggie Darling collected a match-high 15 digs and McKenna Heath tallied 18 assists.
The Jaguars were held to a .010 hitting percentage and hit a negative percentage in the first and fourth sets.

The nightcap opened with a hard-fought first set, but Flagler controlled the remaining two sets to complete the sweep. In the first set alone, there were 19 ties and six lead changes.
Taylor recorded her eighth double-double of the season with 11 kills and 15 digs. She added five block assists to her line.
Megan Hooks added 10 kills and seven digs while Kovach led the defense with a team-high 19 digs.
Mackensie Mosley recorded her first collegiate double-double with 15 assists and 13 digs. Meyers hit an efficient .348 with eight kills on 23 errorless swings.
Ashley Cheewah was tough up front with seven total blocks for the Saints.
Katlyn Sawyer came off the bench to lead Rollins with a match-high 12 kills and completed the double-double with 10 digs. Camille Indest hit .364 with 11 kills and three errors on 22 swings. April Jackson tallied 29 assists for the Tars while Collyn Welsch collected a match-high 22 digs.
Flagler will begin a seven-match road streak on Friday (Sept. 27) at the University of Montevallo at 6 p.m. Central time.
