Flagler played to a 0-0 double-overtime draw with No. 19 Anderson Tuesday afternoon.

Flagler and No. 19 Anderson play to scoreless draw

Box Score ST. AUGUSTINE – Two years in a row Flagler College and Anderson University have met on the soccer pitch. The two teams have played a total of 220 minutes and neither side has been able to score a goal. This year's tie was played at Saints Field on Tuesday afternoon.

Flagler's record moved to 2-2-1 overall while No. 19 (NSCAA/Continental Tire Division II Top 25) Anderson is now 4-0-1.

The Saints actually scored a goal late in the second half, but was whistled for one of its 11 offsides infractions.

Camp Bissell made three saves for the Saints while Bo Hoag stopped seven shots for the Trojans.

Flagler owned a 12-9 advantage in shots and 7-3 in shots on frame. The Saints also held an 8-5 edge in corner kicks. Anderson committed 18 fouls while Flagler was whistled for 11 fouls.

Flagler returns to Peach Belt Conference action on Saturday (Sept. 21) against Clayton State University at 7:30 p.m. at Saints Field.
