Box Score ST. AUGUSTINE – Flagler College scored 10 runs in the final two innings to roll to a 13-0 win over the University of North Georgia in a Peach Belt Conference baseball game Sunday afternoon at Drysdale Field.

Flagler swept the series and improved to 12-14 overall and 5-10 in the Peach Belt. North Georgia fell to 7-15 overall and 3-6 in conference play. This afternoon's game also marked the last time both teams would meet with the same nickname – the Saints. North Georgia will change its nickname to the Nighthawks.

Flagler got all of the offense it would need in the third inning. Andrew Brodbeck led off with a single, then moved to second on a sacrifice bunt and then to third on a ground out. He scored when Jake Hanson reached first on a throwing error by shortstop Jesse Strickland.

Flagler added two more unearned runs in the fifth due to three North Georgia errors.

Flagler erupted for four runs in the seventh as it got a two-run single from Jake Jacob and a two-run triple from Tyler Vanover.

Flagler sent 11 men to the plate in the eighth inning and scored six runs. Nick Kranick hit a two-run double to cap the scoring.

Jake Brandenberger (5-1) tossed a complete game shutout as he scattered six hits and fanned five batters. He induced 14 ground outs and seven fly outs.

Brodbeck singled three times and scored four runs for Flagler. Joe Post singled twice and scored two runs. Of Flagler's 11 hits, nine were singles.

Jacob Beauchamp (0-3) tossed six-plus innings and surrendered four hits and two earned runs. He walked four and struck out four.

Derek Hooper singled twice for North Georgia.

Flagler hosts Florida Southern College on Wednesday (Mar. 20) at 6 p.m. at Drysdale Field.
