Box Score SAVANNAH, Ga. – Stephanie Sfara recorded a match-high 20 kills and added 15 digs to help No. 25 Armstrong Atlantic State University to a 3-2 (25-18, 25-14, 23-25, 21-25, 15-13) win over Flagler College in a Peach Belt Conference volleyball match Wednesday night at The ARC.
Armstrong remains undefeated at 12-0 overall and 5-0 in the Peach Belt. Flagler had its three-match winning streak snapped and fell to 10-6 overall and 6-3 in conference play.
Emilee Taylor led the Saints with 14 kills while
Abby Meyers added 13 kills.
Caitlyn Kovach recorded a match-high 27 digs while
Amelia Morgan tallied 23 assists and
Mackensie Mosley added 13 assists.
Jessica Santaniello added 12 kills and 17 digs fir the Pirates while Emily Wylie and Kristen Holmes each added 10 kills. Megan Pando recorded a double-double with 48 assists and 12 digs.
Flagler, which had fought from being down two sets to none to tie the match at 2-all, held a 13-10 lead in the fifth and deciding set. But Santaniello provided three kills, including the match-winning kill to rally the Pirates.
Flagler concludes its seven-match road trip next week when it travels to Lander University (Oct. 11) and USC Aiken (Oct. 12).
