Box Score AMERICUS, Ga. – Zach Shanahan scored two goals and assisted on another to help Flagler College shutout Georgia Southwestern State University 3-0 in a Peach Belt Conference men's soccer match Wednesday afternoon at Hurricane Field.

Flagler snapped a five-match winless streak and improved to 3-3-2 overall and 1-2-1 in the Peach Belt. Georgia Southwestern fell to 2-5-1 overall and 0-3-0 in conference play.

The Saints wasted little time in seizing the lead. Triston Hall scored 1:28 into the match when he knocked in Shanahan's pass.

The score would remain that way into the half.

Shanahan scored an unassisted goal in the 80th minute and added one more goal in the 81st minute to cap the scoring.

Camp Bissell recorded one save for Flagler before giving way to Josiah Holtz with 15 minutes left in the match. Joe Cullip recorded 10 saves for the Hurricanes.

Flagler out-shot Georgia Southwestern 25-5 and held an 8-2 advantage in corner kicks.

Flagler travels to North Carolina for another conference match on Saturday against UNC Pembroke at 7:30 p.m.
