ST. AUGUSTINE – No. 10 (USA TODAY/ESPN Division II Top 25) USC Aiken used a 12-2 run to distance itself from Flagler College in a 69-49 win in a Peach Belt Conference women's basketball game Saturday afternoon at Flagler Gymnasium.

The game was the regular season finale for both as USC Aiken won the league's East Division out-right with a 16-2 record and improved to 23-3 overall. They will move on to the conference tournament in Columbus, Ga., and take on the No. 4-seed from the West Division. Flagler wrapped up its season with a 4-22 overall record and a 2-16 mark in conference play.

A pair of Treva Mason (Orlando, Fla., West Orange HS) free throws cut the Pacer lead to five (29-24) with two minutes to go in the first half. That would be as close as the Saints would get the rest of the game. Kayla Harris scored two buckets in a row to close the half and give USC Aiken a 33-24 lead at the break. She scored the first two baskets of the second half. Harris scored eight of the Pacers 12 points in the run that lasted 5:31.

A four-foot jumper by Mason pulled the Saints to within nine (51-42), but the Pacers went on a 15-4 run to put the game away.

Harris scored a game-high 27 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and tallied three steals to pace USC Aiken. Brittany Hill recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 assists. She added four steals to her line.

USC Aiken shot 51.9% (28-54) from the field and held a 35-24 rebounding advantage.

Mason led the Saints with 17 points and added seven rebounds and three steals. Jen Knurek (Orlando, Fla., Lake Mary HS) grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds and tallied five assists. Latesha Johnson (St. Petersburg, Fla., Lakewood HS) chipped in with 10 points and six assists. Flagler's lone senior, Charlsea Owen (St. Augustine, Fla., Pedro Menendez HS), scored 10 points in her final game for the Saints on “Senior Day.”
