WEST PALM BEACH – Flagler College closed the game on a 13-6 run to rally past Palm Beach Atlantic University 57-51 in a non-conference women's basketball Wednesday night at Rubin Arena.

Flagler improved to 4-21 on the season while Palm Beach Atlantic lost its seventh consecutive game and dropped to 7-19 overall.

Treva Mason (Orlando, Fla., West Orange HS) scored a season-high 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Saints. Shelbi Lindsey (Apopka, Fla., Lake Mary HS) recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Charlsea Owen (St. Augustine, Fla., Pedro Menendez HS) tallied 10 points while Jen Knurek (Orlando, Fla., Lake Mary HS) corralled 10 rebounds and tallied a team-high five assists. Also, Rachel Brown (Clearwater, Fla., Clearwater HS) broke the school's career blocked shot record with her 113th.

The Saints went 15-of-25 from the free throw line. Flagler also had a season-low nine turnovers.

Hayley Fields led the Sailfish with 17 points. Selethia Jackson recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

PBA led at the half 28-23, but struggled shooting from the field in the second half with a 25.7% (9-35) mark.    

The Sailfish led by as many as 13 (38-25) in the second half, but a 20-7 run by the Saints, capped by a Knurek free throw with 7:27 left, knotted the game at 45. She sank two more free throws with 5:48 left to give Flagler the lead for good (47-45).

Flagler closes out its regular season on Saturday (Feb. 25) at 1:30 p.m. against No. 10 USC Aiken at Flagler Gymnasium..
