ST. AUGUSTINE – Kristen Dickerson came off the bench to score 11 points and T.T. Belcher added 10 points and eight rebounds as Francis Marion University downed Flagler College 54-31 in a Peach Belt Conference women's basketball game Wednesday evening at Flagler Gymnasium.
The Patriots snapped a three-game losing streak and improved to 6-7 overall and 2-5 in the Peach Belt. The Saints fell to 2-11 overall and 1-6 in league play.
Francis Marion forced 28 Flagler turnovers and converted them into 27 points. The Patriots dominated the on the boards out-rebounding the Saints 51-35, including 22 offensive boards which led to 22 second chance points.
The Francis Marion defense held the Flagler offense to its season-low in points (31), field goals made (10), field goals attempted (43), and field goal percentage (.233).
The Patriots shot only 31.75 (19-60) for the game.
Taye'Lor Trotter (St. Petersburg, Fla., Lakewood HS) came off the bench to lead the Saints with 11 points.
Treva Mason (Orlando, Fla., West Orange HS) corralled a game-high 12 rebounds.

Charlsea Owen (St. Augustine, Fla., Pedro Menendez HS) 3-pointer tied the game at 7-all, Francis Marion went on a 10-0 run over the next 4:55 and held a double digit lead for almost the entire contest.
Francis Marion took a 28-15 lead into the half.
Flagler will travel to Columbus State University on Saturday (Jan. 14) for a 1:30 contest.
