In the opener, Flagler plated three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to wipe out a 3-1 Augusta State lead.
Kaycee Lisa (Seminole, Fla., Seminole HS) hit a single, with the bases loaded, to right field to bring the Saints to within a run.
Brittany Simmons (Ocala, Fla., Chattanooga State Tech CC) followed with a single to left-center to score the tying run, but Jaguar center fielder Destiny Echols bobbled the grounder which allowed the eventual winning run to score. Emily Headrick came on in relief and retired the last two batters.
The Jaguars were retired in order in the seventh.
Kalyn Loverich (St. Johns, Fla., Bartram Trail HS) (12-4) came on in relief in fifth inning and tossed three perfect innings. She retired all eight batters she faced and struck two of them out.

Riddick faced 4 batters in the 5th.
In the nightcap, Augusta State broke the scoreless tie with a three-run sixth inning and then held on in the seventh to win 3-2.
Sims drew a one-out walk to start the sixth and Jessica Thornton followed with a single. A wild pitch moved the runners up a base and Loverich came in to relieve starter
Donna Munafo (Satellite Beach, Fla., Brevard CC) (6-5). Loverich inherited a 3-0 count on Kristen Jones and got the count to 3-2. But Jones hit Loverich's third offering through the hole between shortstop and third base to score the first run of the game. With runners on the corners, Jones drifted off first base and got into a rundown long enough for Thornton to score from third base. Kacee Camp then slashed a single to center to score Jones from second. Jones slid around the tag at the plate, but Flagler's catcher threw down to second base to try and catch the advancing Camp. Jones reached over and tagged the plate for the third run for the Jaguars.
That run would prove to be important as the Saints erupted for a pair of runs in the seventh. Lisa socked a two-run home run to left field, but Headrick kept her composure and retired the last two batters to end the game.
Headrick (13-3) tossed a complete and allowed four hits, two runs, walked two and struck out three. She retired 10 batters on fly outs and seven more on ground outs.
Camp went 2-for-3 with a run batted in.
Munafo tossed 5.1 innings and surrendered only two hits. She allowed two runs, walked three and struck out five. Loverich tossed 1.2 innings in relief, allowed two hits, a run and fanned four.
Lauren Bessent (Jacksonville, Fla., Trinity Christian Academy), Jolley and Simmons each added a single for the Saints.
Flagler hosts Lynn University tomorrow (Apr. 6) at 4 p.m. at Saints Field for “Senior Day.” Flagler will honor the careers of its four seniors:
Katelyn Guinsler (Williston, Fla., Central Florida CC),
