AUGUSTA, Ga. – Dianna Craine (Oshawa, Ontario, University of Tulsa) tied her career-high with 17 kills and added 15 digs for her 12th double-double of the season and help power No. 24 (AVCA Division II Top 25) Flagler College to a 3-1 (15-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-21) win over No. 19 Armstrong Atlantic State University in the Peach Belt Conference Volleyball Tournament Championship Match Sunday afternoon at the George A. Christenberry Fieldhouse.

Flagler won its third conference title in a row, which is how long it has been a member of the league. The Saints won their 12th match in a row and improved to 28-6 on the season. Armstrong fell to 35-2, with both losses coming at the hands of Flagler.

Flagler earned the Peach Belt's automatic qualifier and will see who it plays next when the NCAA Division II National Tournament bracket is released at 10 p.m. tonight on ncaa.com.

Craine was named to the All-Tournament Team for the second year in a row. She was selected as the most valuable player last year. Olivia Snipes (Easley, S.C., Easley HS) earned MVP honors this year after averaging 13.40 assists and 4.10 digs per set.

Emilee Taylor (Temple Terrace, Fla., Armwood HS) added 12 kills while Sophie Meyer (Orlando, Fla., The Geneva School) tacked on 13 kills and six digs. Rachel Stacy (Orlando, Fla., Timber Creek HS) chipped in with nine kills and six digs. Snipes recorded her 17th double-double of the season, and her fifth in a row, with 41 assists and 19 digs. Casey Gnann (Boca Raton, Fla., Spanish River HS) paced the defense with a match-high 29 digs.

Amanda Jones and Brittany Wolf each recorded 13 kills for the Pirates. Stacey Davis collected a team-high 25 digs while Ashley Seal recorded a double-double with 45 assists and 12 digs.

After a Craine kill cut the first set score to 11-9 in favor of Armstrong, the Pirates went on a 7-1 run to seize control. Jones had two kills in the run. Armstrong went on to win the set 25-15. Jones finished with six kills and hit .357 with just one error on 14 swings.

The second set featured 13 ties and four lead changes. With the score knotted at 21, Taylor found an opening and recorded the kill to give Flagler a 22-21 lead. A Stacy kill and an attack error by Seal for Armstrong set-up set point. A Wolf kill staved off the first set point, but Taylor pounded home a kill to finish the set in favor of Flagler, 25-22. Meyer led the Saints with five kills and hit .308 with one error on 13 swings.

With the score tied at 21 in the third set, Craine recorded back-to-back kills and Seal followed with an attack error to give Flagler a 24-21 lead. Jessica Santaniello broke the first set point with a kill, but Snipes recorded a kill to end the set with the Saints winning 25-22. Craine finished with eight kills in the set and hit .571 with 14 errorless swings and added seven digs.

The fourth and final set featured 10 ties and one lead change. Jones tied the set at 20 with a kill after the Pirates had trailed by as much as four (17-13). A kill by Meyer broke the tie and gave Flagler a 21-20 lead. Taylor followed with a kill and Meyer served up an ace and Taylor added another kill to set up match point. A kill by Wolf broke the first match point, but Taylor sealed the deal with a kill and Flagler won the set 25-21 and took the match.

Also earning All-Tournament honors were: Marissa Baker, UNCP; Alex Rohlfing, Augusta State; Wolf and Jones, Armstrong.
