WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. −
Rachel Stacy (Orlando, Fla./Timber Creek HS) hit .448 with 15 kills, seven aces and four total blocks to help lead Flagler to a pair of three-match sweeps to claim the Pepsi Bash at the Beach crown Saturday afternoon at Rubin Arena. Flagler defeated Southern New Hampshire University 3-0 (25-12, 25-16, 25-11) and then topped Bentley University 3-0 (25-15, 25-20, 28-26).
Flagler finished the tournament with a perfect 4-0 record and did not lose a set. The Saints improved to 16-5 on the season.
Rebecca Royal (Green Cove Springs, Fla./Fleming Island HS) earned tournament most valuable player honors and
Meg Weathersby (Maitland, Fla./Orangewood Christian) joined Royal on the all-tournament team.
Southern New Hampshire fell to 7-5 and Bentley dipped to 10-11. Both schools are members of the Northeast-10 Conference.
In the opener, Stacy and
Dianna Craine (Oshawa, Ontario/University of Tulsa) each recorded seven kills to lead a balanced offense. Stacy also added four total blocks. Weathersby and Craine paced the defense with six digs each while Royal tallied 17 assists, four total blocks and hit .500.
Stephanie Dluginski led the Penmen with six kills. Peyton Williams collected a match-high 11 digs while Lauren Lopez tallied 16 assists.

In the second match, Weathersby recorded a match-high 17 kills and hit .516 for the Saints. Stacy hit an efficient .467 with eight kills on 15 swings and also served up four aces.
Olivia Snipes (Easley, S.C./Easley HS) tallied 20 assists and also collected six digs.
Alauna Berry led the Falcons with 14 kills and hit .500 for the match. Andrea Farrah paced the defense with seven digs and Kelly Mee tallied 26 assists.
Flagler wraps up its road swing tomorrow (Oct. 10) at Lynn University at noon.
