ANDERSON, S.C. − Flagler College and Barry University played 110 minutes, but neither team could put the ball in the goal in a non-conference men's soccer match Sunday afternoon at the Anderson Civic Center Sports Complex.

Flagler's record is now 0-2-1 while Barry stands at 2-1-1.

Barry had a couple of good looks at the goal in the first half, but Flagler goalkeeper Zach Volpi (Altamonte Springs, Fla./Bishop Moore HS) made a pair of tough saves to keep the Bucs scoreless.

Mack Hough (St. Augustine, Fla./Pedro Menendez HS) came close to breaking the tie in the second overtime when he booted a shot from 20 yards out, but the ball hit the crossbar.

Volpi finished with four saves while his counterpart, Jony Rodrigues tallied six saves.

Barry out-shot Flagler 16-15 and held an 11-3 advantage in corner kicks. Flagler was whistled for 22 fouls and Barry was tagged for 13.

Flagler opens up its Peach Belt Conference slate Sept. 12 at home against the University of Montevallo at 7:30 p.m.
