SAVANNAH, Ga. − Meg Weathersby (Maitland, Fla./Orangewood Christian) recorded her third double-double of the season with 13 kills and 11 digs to help lead Flagler College to a 3-1 (25-21, 25-18, 16-25, 25-21) win over Armstrong Atlantic State University in a Peach Belt Conference volleyball match Wednesday night at The ARC.

Flagler won its fifth match in a row and raised its overall record to 12-8 and its conference record to 5-1. AASU had its three-match win streak snapped and fell to 11-5 and 3-2 in the Peach Belt.

Weathersby added three block assists and two service aces to her line. Justine Burkhardt (St. Augustine, Fla./Winthrop U.) added 12 kills, seven digs and two aces. She hit .229 for the match committing only four errors on 35 swings. Katie Beale (Stuart, Fla./Martin County HS) chipped in with eight kills and a match-high 21 digs. Rachel Stacy (Orlando, Fla./Timber Creek HS) recorded six total blocks and the Saints tallied nine as a team. Olivia Snipes (Easley, S.C./Easley HS) registered 23 assists and seven digs for Flagler.

Kathrin Standhardinger recorded a match-high 15 kills, hit .429 and added five total blocks in a losing cause for the Pirates. Kristin Standhardinger tallied a match-high 34 assists while Casey Howett paced the defense with 11 digs.

Flagler continues its road-swing with two more conference dates this weekend. On Friday (Oct. 2), Flagler visits UNC Pembroke at 7 p.m. and then takes on Francis Marion University on Saturday (Oct. 3) at 2 p.m.
