ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. − Meg Weathersby (Maitland, Fla./Orangewood Christian), the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week, led a balanced scoring attack with a match-high 12 kills and a .304 hitting percentage as Flagler College swept Augusta State University 3-0 (25-16, 25-17, 25-11) in a PBC volleyball match Friday night at Flagler Gym

The same two teams met Sept. 19 in Augusta with Flagler coming away with a similar 3-0 win. Flagler won its third straight match and fifth-of-its-last-six matches and raised its overall record to 10-8 and 3-1 in the conference. Augusta State fell to 8-7 and 1-3 in conference.

Katie Beale (Stuart, Fla./Martin County HS) added nine kills, a .312 hitting percentage and collected five digs. Rachel Stacy (Orlando, Fla./Timber Creek HS) hit a blistering .750 in two sets as she tallied six kills on eight errorless swings. Casey Gnann (Boca Raton, Fla./Spanish River HS) paced the defense with a match-high 13 digs. Olivia Snipes (Easley, S.C./Easley HS) tallied 22 assists and collected five digs while Rebecca Royal (Green Cove Springs, Fla./Fleming Island HS) hit .667 (four kills on six attempts), registered 15 assists and recorded two total blocks.

Flagler hit a season-high .365 as the Saints recorded 45 kills and 14 errors on 85 swings. The Saints hit a .520 clip in the third set. Flagler never trailed in any of the sets.

Jessica Hanson, Tarah Childress and Jessica Howard each recorded five kills apiece for the Jaguars and Hanson finished with a .500 hitting percentage. Lindsey Weider tallied five digs and Ashley Zappitell chipped in with 15 assists.

Flagler plays host to first-place (Peach Belt) University of Montevallo tomorrow (Sept. 26) at 1 p.m.
