SAVANNAH, Ga. − The Flagler College volleyball team had its five-match win streak snapped at the Chatham Orthopedic Volleyball Classic Friday afternoon at Alumni Arena. Flagler (5-6) fell in the opener to Barry University (4-1) 3-0 (25-23, 25-21, 25-21) and hen lost 3-0 (25-23, 25-21, 25-13) to Lynn University (7-1).

In the opener, Katie Beale (Stuart, Fla./Martin County HS) led the Saints with eight kills and added a team-high 14 digs. Casey Gnann (Boca Raton, Fla./Spanish River HS) added 12 digs while Olivia Snipes (Easley, S.C./Easley HS) tallied 17 assists.

In the nightcap, Meg Weathersby (Maitland, Fla./Orangewood Christian) led Flagler with 10 kills while Beale paced the defense with 10 digs. Snipes registered 15 assists.

Flagler returns to the court tomorrow at 11 a.m. against Wingate University and wraps up the tournament against Queens University of Charlotte at 4:30 p.m.
