SAVANNAH, Ga. − Armstrong Atlantic State University scored single runs in the first, second and third innings and added three more in the fifth in a 6-1 win over Flagler College in a non-conference baseball game Tuesday afternoon at Pirate Field. AASU won its 18th consecutive game and raised its record to 24-8 while Flagler fell to 11-20.

Kenny Cail (3-4, RBI) hit an RBI triple in the bottom of the first to get the Pirates on the board first. Michael Price (2-4, RBI) hit a run scoring single in the second which proved to be all Peach Belt Conference member Armstrong Atlantic would need.

Flagler, a member of the Peach Belt next season, scored a run in the top of the third when Sam Bridgeman's (St. Augustine, Fla./Wofford College) groundout to first base scored Kyle Foti (Stamford, Conn./Trinity Catholic HS).

Bryan Roby added some insurance for the Pirates by collecting an RBI in the third and then Carlos Cardza-Oqundo hit a bases clearing triple in the fifth.

Blake Culberson (3-0) tossed five innings and scattered six hits and one run. He struck out six batters.

John Sgromolo (Green Cove Springs, Fla./Clay HS) singled twice for the Saints.

Austin Donmoyer (Pine Grove, Pa./Pine Grove Area HS) (3-4) took the loss after going 6 2/3 innings. He surrendered eight hits and two earned runs.

Flagler travels to Winter Park to take on Rollins College Friday (Mar. 27) at 6 p.m.
