ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. − Katie Beale (Stuart, Fla./Martin County HS) recorded a match-high 15 kills and 18 digs to help lead Flagler College to a 3-1 (25-16, 20-25, 25-19, 25-23) win over Armstrong Atlantic State University in a Peach Belt Conference volleyball match Wednesday night at Flagler Gym.

With the win, Flagler clinches at least a share of the Peach Belt Conference regular season title as it raised its record to 25-8 overall and 11-1 in conference play. The Saints also extended its win streak to 18 matches. AASU had its nine-match win streak snapped and fell to 22-8 overall and 9-3 in the conference.

Beale recorded her 16th double-double of the season and hit .290 for the match. Meg Weathersby (Maitland, Fla./Orangewood Christian) recorded her ninth double-double of the season with 12 kills and 12 digs. She only had four attack errors on 31 swings. Rachel Stacy (Orlando, Fla./Timber Creek HS) chipped in with 11 kills and five total blocks. Justine Burkhardt (St. Augustine, Fla./Winthrop U.) added 10 kills and seven digs Saints. Olivia Snipes (Easley, S.C./Easley HS) registered 30 assists and seven digs while Rebecca Royal (Green Cove Springs, Fla./Fleming Island HS) tallied 19 assists and four total blocks.

Brendyce Budd led the Pirates with 11 kills while Casey Howett paced the defense with 17 digs. Kristin Standhardinger added 35 assists and nine digs.

Flagler hosts a doubleheader on Friday (Nov. 6). They open with UNC Pembroke, in a PBC match, at 6 p.m. and follow with a non-conference match against Palm Beach Atlantic University at 8 p.m.
