ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Mack Hough (St. Augustine, Fla./ Pedro Menendez HS) and Greg Taafe (Dorset, England/ Lenoir-Rhyne Univ.) each scored twice to help lead Flagler past Florida Southern College Wednesday night in a non-conference matchup at Saints Field. The Saints tallied three goals in each half to cruise past the Mocs, 6-1.

Flagler started the scoring in the 32nd minute when Hough kicked in a throw-in from Will Frandsen (Orange Park, Fla./ Orange Park HS). Frandsen's pass came right to Hough for the shot.

Just one minute later, Hough would score again off Conor Killeen's (Dublin, Ireland/ Colaiste Ide) corner kick. The ball sailed past every other player except Hough who tapped in the shot.

The scoring flurry continued in the 35th minute when Frandsen shot in a loose ball off a Mocs' defender. Flagler would take a 3-0 lead into the second half.

In the 46th minute, Taafe would tally his first goal of the night to give the Saints a 4-0 advantage. Taafe was assisted by Frandsen along the right side.

Taafe would score the next goal, in the 82nd minute, when he took a pass from Eammon Murphy (Winter Springs, Fla./ Winter Springs HS) and tapped it over Mocs' goalkeeper Johan Jonsson.

The Mocs were able to get on the scoreboard in the 85th minute when Zach Hofstetter sent a shot past goalkeeper Matt Gilman (Ocala, Fla./ Jacksonville Univ.) in the bottom-right corner.

Flagler would tally one more goal in the final minute when Murphy intercepted a pass and took it in for a goal.

The win moves Flagler's record to 9-5-1 with a conference road match coming this Saturday at North Georgia.
