ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. − Sean Gormley (Marlton, N.J./Cherokee HS) and David Iafrate (Gainesville, Fla./Buchholz HS) each tallied goals to lead Flagler College to a 2-0 win over St. Thomas University of Miami Gardens in a non-conference men's soccer match Friday night at Saints Field. The win extends Flagler's win streak to three matches.

Flagler (3-1-0) drew first blood when Gormley received Gerson Penza's (Willemstad, Curacao/St. Gregory's U.) flip pass just across the midfield stripe and broke in on the keeper and blasted a shot into the upper left corner of the goal in the 9th minute to put the Saints up 1-0.

Iafrate scored the insurance goal after he flicked in a cross from newcomer Boris Kalff (Cologne, Germany/Sports University of Cologne) right in front of the goal box.

The Holtz brothers Jordan (Clermont, Fla./South Lake HS) and Josiah (Clermont, Fla./East Ridge HS) teamed to blank the Bobcats. Jordan recorded a pair of saves and Josiah registered three.

St. Thomas (1-2-0) out-shot Flagler 15-12 and also held a 6-4 advantage in corner kicks.

Diego Villegas recorded three saves for St. Thomas.

Flagler hosts Jacksonville University Sunday night at 7 p.m. at Saints Field. St. Thomas returns to Florida Sun Conference action when they host Warner Southern at 3 p.m.
