ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Flagler's Bryan Harrell (Granger, Ind./Lincoln Trail College) scampered home on a passed ball in the 10th inning giving the Saints a 5-4 win over 7th-ranked Bellevue (Neb.) University in a non-conference baseball game Friday night at Flagler Stadium.

Harrell led off the 10th inning by reaching on a fielding error by Bellevue second baseman Joe Evans. He then stole second and Zach Rossetti (Tequesta, Fla./Jupiter HS) ripped a single to center field moving Harrell to third. Bruin reliever Brandon Kelley (0-2) threw a 2-1 pitch that eluded catcher Bryant Perdomo through his legs and all the way to the backstop, allowing Harrell to score from third with the winning run.

Bryan Crouch (Jacksonville, Fla./Arlington Country Day School) tripled, singled and scored a run for Flagler (18-12). Preston Picard (Detroit, Mich./Madonna U.) collected a pair of singles, scored a run and drove in two more. Mike Scott (Jacksonville, Fla./The Bolles School) also singled twice and scored a run for the Saints. Paul Mathews (Baton Rouge, La./Saint Louis CC-Meramec) (6-0) tossed 1.2 innings in relief, allowing just one hit. He spelled starter Wes Burgess (St. Augustine, Fla./Bartram Trail HS) who tossed 8.1 innings, allowed nine hits and two earned runs.

Kelly went four innings in relief for the Bellevue (12-11). He scattered five hits and allowed one unearned run. Billy Ramsey went five innings as the starter for the Bruins. He allowed six hits ad three earned runs. Evans collected a pair of singles and drove in two runs while Scott Raterman also singled twice, scored a run and drove in another. Perdomo went 2-for-3 for Bellevue.

Flagler College hosts Grand View College of Des Moines, Iowa on Sunday (Mar. 19) in a 1 p.m. doubleheader. Bellevue University plays its second home game of the season when thy host Briar Cliff University on Mar. 22 at 5 p.m.
