Finn Weigelt of the men's soccer team was selected as the Athlete of the Month, sponsored by Jalaram Hotels for the month of October.
During the month of October, Weigelt scored five goals and one assist for 10 points and played a total of 319 minutes. Shot the game winning goal to put the Saints ahead for the remainder of the match at Clayton State (Oct. 3).

"The visiting Saints struck first in the 14th minute by turning an aggressive press into a Lakers miscue. John McGarry applied the pressure and forced a Lakers turnover in the box. The junior dribbled towards net before sliding a pass through the box to Finn Weigelt who buried the early goal."
Weigelt's best match of the month was against Middle Georgia at home for Senior Day, where he scored two goals on two shots for 1.000 shot percentage.Â

"Following a turnover in the Saints attacking zone, senior Oliver Lindstorm gathered and sent a chip over two Middle Georgia defenders and found Finn Weigelt all alone. The senior had the Saints second straight one-on-one look with the Knights goalkeeper and beat him to extend the lead to 3-0."
 "The Saints remained aggressive despite the lead and found the back of the net again just three minutes later. Attacking down the right side of the box, senior Luke Williams sent a cross in and found Weigelt who buried his second goal of the match."
The Berlin, Germany native leads the Saints and the conference this season in scoring (11).
