Ryan Rivas of the men's soccer team was selected as the Athlete of the Month, sponsored by Holiday Inn Express for the month of September.

Rivas was selected as the athlete of the week on Sept. 28.

(from the Sept. 28 release) Rivas turned in two clean sheets last week and helped lead Flagler to a 1-0-1 record. The Fort Lauderdale, Florida native recorded seven saves. He finished with five saves in a 0-0 tie against Lander and then added two saves in a 1-0 win over Middle Georgia.
