Tariq Daughton of the men’s basketball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending Jan. 25.

The Knoxville, Tennessee native averaged 13.0 points and 4.5 rebounds per game last week and helped lead Flagler to a 2-0 record. He shot 58.8 percent from the field. In a 77-72 win at Clayton State, Daughton scored 17 of his team high 19 points in the second half. He made 7-of-10 from the field and grabbed six rebounds.
