Ryan Rivas of the men's soccer team was selected as the Athlete of the Month, sponsored by Holiday Inn Express for the month of November.

Rivas was selected as the athlete of the week on Nov. 24.

(from the Nov. 24 release) Rivas pitched back-to-back shutouts in the NCAA Division II National Tournament. He had on save in Flagler's 2-0 win over Young Harris College in the first round and followed that up with a five-save effort in a huge 2-0 upset win over No. 2 (USC Division II Top 25) Palm Beach Atlantic University. 

Rivas has five shutouts in his last eight matches and tied the program's Division II era record for saves in a season with 10.
