Will Stone of the men's track and field team was selected as Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending May 4.

The Largo, Fla. native competed in two events while at the Peach Belt Conference track and field championship. Stone was one of three runners to tie for the PBC Men's Outstanding Track Athlete award after collecting 20 points. In the 1500 meter run, Stone placed first in a time of 3:53.83. In the 800, Stone excelled, placing first again as well as setting an NCAA provisional time and a new conference record with a 1:50.04 finish. This time has him tied for 30th in the country.
