Taylor Stone of the women's indoor track & field team was selected as the Athlete of the Month, sponsored by Holiday Inn Express for the month of February.

McClendon was selected as the athlete of the week ending Feb. 12.

(From the Feb. 12 release) Stone finished in third place in the mile at the Grand Valley State University Big Meet on Friday. The junior from Largo, Fla., ran a 4:45.98 which is the fastest in the PBC this season. She was less than a second out of the lead and turned in the 11th-fastest mile run in Division II this season. She beat the NCAA provisional mark by over 10 seconds and ran the anchor leg of the distance medley relay, helping the team to a 10th place finish in a field of 22 teams in a time of 12:04.33.
