Dana Heimen of the women's tennis team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending March 12.

Heimen finished the week with a perfect 3-0 record in singles and had the same mark in doubles with teammate Luisa Hrda. The Ketsch, Germany native won all of her three singles matches in straight sets and in doubles, her and Hrda were only pushed in one match, a 6-3 win over a tandem from Lee University.

For the season, Heimen is ranked No. 65 in the nation in singles and holds a 16-3 record in singles this year and is 6-2 this spring. Heimen and Hrda are 4-0 this spring when paired for doubles.
