Philipp Lemken of the men's tennis team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week for the period ending April 24.

Lemken posted a 2-0 record in singles and went 3-0 in doubles play last week as the Saints won all three Peach Belt Conference matches. His win in singles last Tuesday won the match for Flagler over then-No. 1 Columbus State University, 4-3. He defeated Felix Steen, at No. 4 singles, 5-7, 6-4, and 6-4. This was the program's first win over a top-ranked team as a NCAA Division II program. The Saints also clinched at least a share of the PBC regular season crown with their win on Saturday.

Lemken is 18-7 this year in singles with a 13-4 record this spring. He is 11-3 at No. 4 doubles and has won his last five matches in a row. Lemken is 21-8 overall this year in doubles and is 15-3 this spring. He holds an 11-1 record at No. 1 doubles.
