Aaron Anderson of the baseball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending March 31.
Anderson helped lead the Saints to a 3-1 week which included a series sweep of No. 19 Columbus State University. He batted .545 as he went 6-for-11 with four doubles, one run batted in, scored five runs, and drew five walks. Anderson posted a .909 slugging percentage and also recorded a .706 on-base percentage. His double in the sixth inning, a hit which coupled with a throwing error allowed him to score, broke up a scoreless game Friday night.
For the season, Anderson leads the team with a .343 batting average. He leads the club in hits (49), doubles (11), total bases (69), slugging percentage (.483), and on-base percentage (.435).
