Madison North of the women's soccer team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week following the period ending Oct. 17.

The sophomore from Milton, Vermont turned in a pair of clean sheets as the team went 2-0. In a 1-0 win at Florida Southern College, North saved five shots, including a penalty shot in the 72nd minute that could have tied the score. She collected another five saves in a 1-0 win at No. 22 University of North Georgia last Saturday.

This season, North has a 1.02 goals-against average and has three shutouts.
