Jaizec Lottie of the men's basketball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Feb. 14.
This is his fourth player of the week award (Nov. 22, Dec. 20, and Jan. 18).
The senior from Aurora, Colorado averaged a team-best 28.0 points per game to help No. 21 Flagler College to a 2-0 week. He made 50 percent of his shots from the field and 41.2 percent of his shots from three-point range. Lottie averaged 6.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 2.5 steals per game. Lottie poured in a season-high 33 points, 20 of which came in the first half in Flagler's 90-76 win over Francis Marion University. He has scored 30 or more points in a game five times this year. Lottie scored a game-high 23 points in an 82-52 rout at Augusta University on Saturday.
For the season, Lottie is averaging a team-high 25.2 points per game. He also leads the Saints in field goals made, 3-pointers made, free throws made, assists, and steals.
