Marcus Henderson of the men's basketball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Feb. 28.
The sophomore from Charlotte, North Carolina led Flagler in scoring last week with an 18.5 points per game average and sank 10-of-24 three-pointers. He added nine rebounds, eight assists, and three steals to his line. Henderson scored a season-high 25 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the field in a win over USC Aiken last Wednesday. He added 12 points, six rebounds, and six assists last Saturday at Francis Marion University, which clinched the PBC regular season title for the Saints.
For the season, Henderson is averaging 11.6 ppg and has made 32 three-pointers.
