Heloise Duffie de Tassigny of the women's cross country team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Dec. 2.
This is the third time this fall she was selected as the athlete of the week (Sept. 23 and Nov. 4).
The Angers, France native was Flagler's top finisher at the NCAA Division II Championships yesterday at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Duffie de Tassigny finished in 41st place, the best finish ever by a Flagler runner at the D2 Championship, and her time (23:34.1) was just one second shy of earning All-America honors.
Last month, Duffie de Tassigny was selected as the PBC Runner of the Year, she won the individual title at the PBC Championship, and she earned all-region honors after finishing in sixth place at the Southeast Regional.
