Heloise Duffie de Tassigny of the women's indoor track and field team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Feb. 25.

She became the first Flagler women's track athlete to qualify for the national championships. She won the mile run at the JDL Last Chance Invitational on Sunday with a time of 4:51.45. Now, with the conversion, her time becomes 4:48.60, which is the ninth fastest time recorded in Division II this year.
