Luca Bolla of the men's tennis team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Feb. 11.

Bolla knocked off two ranked singles players last week as he beat No. 8 Carlos Gomez of Barry (4-6, 6-4, 6-4) and No. 19 Guillermo Nicolas of Rollins (7-5, 6-2). The latter win helped set up the clinching point in a hard-fought 5-4 victory over No. 16 Rollins College. Bolla also played No. 1 singles on Sunday against Palm Beach Atlantic.

Bolla is 4-1 this spring in singles play and is 4-0 against regionally ranked opponents.
