Jabe Molinaro of the baseball team was selected as the May Athlete of the Month.

Molinaro was the athlete of the week for the period ending May 8.

Molinaro batted .538 to help lead Flagler to a 3-0 sweep against Francis Marion and clinch a berth to the Peach Belt Conference Tournament. He tied for the team lead with seven hits in the series which included a double, triple and a home run. Molinaro drove in a team-high eight runs and scored another three runs. He topped the team with a 1.000 slugging percentage. In the second game of the doubleheader on Friday, Molinaro went 3-for-4 and was a double shy of the cycle against FMU's Matt Kelley who earned national pitcher of the week honors a couple of weeks ago.

For the month, Molinaro batted a team-high .500 going 12-for-24 with two doubles, a triple and one home run. He drove in 10 runs and scored five. Molinaro finished May with a .792 slugging percentage and a .500 on-base percentage.
